Lord Charles David Powell of Bayswater

Lord Powell is the Chairman of the Wingate Advisory Board. Lord Powell is presently a board member on a number of international companies. These include Textron Inc, Caterpillar Inc, and Mandarin Oriental International Ltd. Lord Powell has also been Deputy Chairman of Trafalgar House plc, as well as National Westminster Bank plc. Lord Powell has also been active in the diplomatic service in Europe and the US, and also served as Private Secretary to two successive prime ministers - Baroness Thatcher and John Major. Lord Powell was also awarded a Life Peerage, Queens New Year's Honour List, January 2000.
